A rep for the rapper, born Marcel Theo Hall, explained to TMZ that Hall is currently receiving treatment in a Maryland-area hospital for a serious illness stemming from his Type II Diabetes. They noted that it is not COVID-19.
The rep told the outlet, “He is receiving the best care from an amazing team of medical professionals and we remain positive about the outcome.”
The musician, known best for his hit “Just A Friend,” has candidly spoke about his Diabetes diagnosis previously and how he lost 140 pounds to better his health, the outlet reports.
Hall’s current status is unclear.
